Have you received a letter saying you might have a policy with us?

Sometimes the Royal Mail sends a letter back to us with a note saying a customer is no longer at the address we have for them. When that happens, we’ll do everything we can to find them. We’ll call every phone number we’ve got on record and, if that doesn’t work, we’ll go further afield. That might mean getting in touch with a customer’s bank, the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), or working through a company called Accurate Data Services, who specialise in finding people.

If we’ve written to you, we think you might have a policy with us

If we’ve written to you, we think you might have a policy with us. That letter could have come from Sun Life Financial of Canada directly, or from your bank, the DWP or Accurate Data Services.

Sun Life Financial of Canada has taken on lots of other companies. When we acquire a company, we take on their customers too. So even if you didn’t buy your policy with us, you might have bought it from one of these companies we now own:

Armco Liberty
Associated Investors Life & Equity
British National Life Assurance (BNLA) Lincoln
Cannon Lincoln Unit Trust Managers
Citibank SLFC Unit Managers
City Financial Southampton
Confederation Life Trident
Imperial Trinity
International Life Yeoman

How to get in touch
